Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Faith lives in your head as words and ideas, and in your heart as the certainty of what is. If the mind of your heart is rooted and grounded in the Lord's Spirit, you can know His mind and will with certainty. Faith touches our prayers, our actions, and what we believe. But I want to focus on just one thing; how do you detect the movement of faith in your spirit?

A woman who desired to be healed had faith that if she touched Jesus she would be healed. Jesus was in a crowd surrounded by people, and didn't know who touched him, but he knew that virtue went out of him. The word is Dunamis, the same word we get dynamite from - the word preachers use when they tell you that your prayers have the power of dynamite. So we know from Jesus' example that faith is 'stuff'. Faith is perceptible. We can feel faith move in our spirit.

Say for instance you are faced with a decision - which of these two jobs should I take? Or you are praying for someone to be healed.. Get into the mind of your heart. Step aside from your own will. Forget what 'I want'. Pray the issue to the Lord and wait on Him. Pay attention. See if you can feel dunamis moving in your spirit. If you can't feel anything, wait some more. Keep the issue on your heart as you are walking around. Don't give up until you get an answer.

Luke 8:43-48 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched. And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude throng thee and press thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me. And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately. And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace.
